Tips for PIED

Does anyone have any tips to accelerate the process of overcoming PIED?

I have been struggling with this for years, been relapsing so I have not had any good enough streaks to see improvement. So my PIED stayed for the whole time I’ve been trying to live a porn an masturbation free life…

But this time I am confident about reaching a long streak, and never PMO again, because of this website and forum and its accountability. And also because I’m really tired of not being able to get it up with real girls.

Do any of you have experience with PIED and recovered from it? How did you do it, how long did it take? Thank you all in advance,

Good diet, rest, and stress reduction go a long way towards this. This can’t be overstated.

Abstinence with Kegels/Reverse Kegels/Stretching into that region. Wide-legged forward fold, Child’s Pose, and frog pose are great yoga poses to help open up this region.

PIED can be impacted by both an excessively tight pelvic region, or an overly loose one. So balanced strengthening/stretching is the best approach.

Don’t go over board with the Kegels, slow and steady, as the tightness in the area can be a trigger as it can be associated with a need for sexual release.

I have read about kegels before, some people are not convinced that this works, I even read that kegels were painful and injured some people, so I didn’t bother to try it. I’ll do some more research on the topic.

Did you experience pain and did you have succes with doing kegels? And what would you say is a good diet for the best recovery from PIED?

I have had success, but I do a low number of kegels and do it slowly. Reverse kegels are necessary, they are a method stretching the muscles. If you are already overly tight, then only practicing regular kegels could lead to issues.

Every other day, not every day. Start with about 10 reps max. Spend about 70% effort on kegels, 30% on reverse.

The best diet is a healthy diet. If you can cut out processed foods, and eat lots of rice/beans/veggies/fruits/moderate amounts of meat - it should do the trick!

This + abstinence gave me incredible results after 30 days.
