What I did to combat the urge to fap on my 7th day streak

#1

Hey guys, I am on my 7th day of No PMO streak, and i wanted to share a tool that helped me not to fall back to my old ways.
Last night I felt that my sexual energy has grown quite high, to a point where I started remembering vividly some sexual encounters I had in the past. It was triggered by a video where sex was the topic of its discussion. I immediately clicked off the page, lowered the screen and exited my room for at least 20 min. I should add that I bought the Cold Turkey app blocker on Day 1 and set it to block all adult websites - even on private browsers - until the next year. So with that in mind, it was easier for me to lower the screen and exit the room, because i had no way of visiting those sites and peaking or edging myself to failure.
I thank you for your time reading this, and if you could add anything like an advice or a story, please do!

Thanks for sharing, Steadfast. Breaking away from the situation is a great idea, and difficult to do at times. Nice job.

I don’t have too much to add to this one. Keep going!

I loved what you had to share with us. I understand your pain brother and we want you step up being the verson of you can be. Keep being awesome Captain Steadfast.

Awesome sauce my friend! I have two blockers on my browser, one that literally searches out terms common to porn sites like “cumming”. I would have to exert super-human desire to overcome the blockers, including of course, deleting them from my computer. Not. Going. To. Do. It.

Great Gatorman, funny how we share the same approach, i too have set different blockers on other devices that weed out sexual terms to prevent me from “accidentally” viewing such content. Good luck with your journey. I am on my 12 day streak, but I am planning to stop counting on Day 90 and let go from that porn filled life into a better version. This is what i would advice you as well, to not be fixated with the numbers and let it naturally become a lifestyle. Take care and godspeed!
