No PMO War XVI

Typically I make a good 2 weeks - 1 month and slip up, it's been my habit on and off for over a year now. This community has really helped me quit my problem. I just wanted to post here saying I am feeling the urges, but I am not gonna quit. With some things in life, there isn't a way around it, above it, or below it. Some things you just gotta go through and deal with it. I'm posting here to declare I am going through it and will deal with this. Temptation is actually exciting, it means the brain is transforming and molding. Kind of like when you put some alcohol on a wound, the stinging means that it's working.

Being saved isn't just about going to heaven, we can be saved from our sins right now, and our pasts be washed away, our lives be made anew. For me, I was way off the deep end in lust and drug use before devoting my life to Christ and He has made within me a clean heart. My lowest point was my 20th birthday when I overdosed on too much drugs and was placed in a psyche ward. There I met Christ, but I didn't have a relationship with God until 3 years after. Now I am completely changed and couldn't be happier. God will heal us from our addictions and problems, but He wants to get to know us personally too. I plead anyone reading this to spend time with God in prayer and in the Bible, just to be with Him. There was a man who once prayed every day from 6:00 - 7:00 before work, saying, "God, it's me. I'm just here to spend some time with You." One day that man unfortunately was in a dangerous accident and was placed into the hospital. He was in a coma and the measurement of his heart rate proved to be weak and irregular for days. However, every day, from 6:00 - 7:00, his heart rate jumped completely back to normal on the readings, and the medical staff only saw it after the fact. When he got out of the coma, he made a complete recovery, and the baffled medical staff asked him, "What happened every day from 6:00 - 7:00?" He said he had the same dream every day, and every day he heard, "[Friend], it's God. I'm just here to spend some time with you."

I will be married soon. I started dating my girlfriend when I was on a nofap streak almost three years ago, unfortunately sometime during our relationship I fell back into porn. I've been on and off with nofap while with her. She and I abstain until marriage. Our wedding is just a few months away, I'm making a promise to myself that she is going to be the only woman I'll ever see like that for the rest of my life.

I unfortunately had 2 relapses after a really bad temptation onslaught. This onslaught was brought on by something I learned in conjunction with my poor sleep as of late. But I know what I can to do better, so I will continue on even if I am not in the war. Good luck to those left in the war!

Starting a new game+ for me Continuing my streak but this time in a much more personally challenging environment, away from the help I have right now Will try my best and pray hard that I do well. Will try to get accountability from a friend as well. We got this lads!

Greetings gentlemen, after a 25 day streak, I had an unfortunate relapse while in the shower. I am most certainly not complaining, but I would recon that the underlying cause was no physical activity for today + long concentrated hours of building and error fixing my software I am currently coding. I shall be continuing in ghost mode with all the current warriors. Good luck to everyone, and while I am not officially in the War anymore, I will be participating indirectly. After 6 years of late night sleep, I finally found a motivation to go to bed early and start the day before 10 A.M. I feel very productive and enegretic today.

my goal is to close the door with porn and all connected to it forever. Leave it all behind. And when one door closes, the other one opens- the one with real women, intimacy and true connections
