I have not read this book, because by God's grace, I created my own system and escaped from porn just before I heard about this.
But I've heard that it has similarities with my system wherein it discourages willpower method, and emphasizes addicts to start living a normal life as soon as possible.
That is - to not hit pause on life while you recover from the addiction.
Is this true?

1) No Porn (or Porn substitutes), No Masturbation, No Edging, No Peeking. Intentional indulging in any of these during this war will disqualify you from daily 'Check In'.
