Hey, some time ago there was no-PMO war with over 1400 guys, what happened? Is it just lack of announcement or people just gave up to porn?

I like to think that a lot of them succeeded and they just don't use the website, the further you get the less you have a need for it.
I'm at 14 months and I barely check the website, it isn't a daily struggle like it used to be so I'll forget to check in. Or since I work more than 12 hours I just forget it over everything happening in life.
Look at the lack of activity in a good light most of us succeeded. You'll succeeded as well it just takes time and commitment.
Also as part of quitting a lot of people take up hobbies and other things to remove the temptation. So a lot of people now have other things to think about and do.
When you aren't constantly struggling you don't think about it, and checking in to a website everyday is a constant reminder of what you quit. I'd rather not be reminded of it daily if I can avoid it. If I was struggling I might join a war but I think the daily log in would do more harm than good at this point.
I quit so why remind myself daily of it? Why risk my sobriety? Why watch other people fail? Why read the excuses and justifications of others when they fail when it might effect me?
I apologies if I sound cynical or heartless. This is my own opinion on the matter.
I hope not, but it is a possibility. If they did give up then I prefer them not being here, I'd rather have a handful of brothers committed to the fight than hundreds faking it.
I totally agree! At any rate, we all know that the number will drastically drop in the first few days.
I also confess that I have been pretty weak lately and haven’t made it through a war in several months. I will do my best to make it to the end of this one 🙏
Yea, I am sure it is a mixture of giving up, getting busy and ect. I suppose in the end we are the ones that are here. Be encouraged though, I look forward to this one.
I made it for the war, normally I miss the first day and then that's me done until the next one starts.
It would be a good idea to start something outside this website to keep in contact since you don't get notifications from the website.
If my PC was still good enough to game I'd suggest we all get into a lobby of something together. We'd get better support from each other if we could play and talk at the same time instead of just random forum messages whenever we are feeling down.
Well email notifications work, and you do not die on first missed day, it's MIA, only at day 2 turns to KIA and if you relapsed.
I can’t remember my first war here, I feel like it was ~8 years ago or something crazy like that. I have seen lots of people with multiple stars next to their name that succeeded many times, I’ve come and gone here and here and have never made it that far even once. Hoping to be able to. Glad you guys are here and glad this is still a thing. My goal is, even if I fail, to connect with people sometimes. Rooting for you.
