We are now at day 1 of the seven week challenge for NO PMO. I have been doing this challenge for several years now and unfortunately, every time we lose at least half of the soldiers during the first week. This is indeed a very difficult challenge, perhaps the most difficult one one meets in life! I would also say that it is the most important challenge in one’s life as this addiction does so much damage to all areas of one’s life!
I decided this war that I would try to check in every day and share how the day is going briefly with any challenge or high point. I would like to encourage anyone else to join me in sharing any difficulty, etc., which you encounter during the day. This kind of accountability can be very helpful because it demonstrates that we are all in this together with very similar challenges.
I recently came across a quote which says it all for me:
“The Road to Hell Feels like Heaven and the Road to Heaven Feels like Hell”
