No PMO War XVIII

07/01/20 - 08/19/20
Back to Battlefield
I have fallen.

Unfortunately after a spontanous party yesterday (I dont party often) and doing some drugs I have then after the night relapsed unable to control my lust 2 times. I have noticed that the relapses after 70+ day streaks end mostly because of either being too drunk or doing things like mdma. I take it as a lesson and let this be a lesson for You too: I believe You need to be mostly sober or totally sober on this journey to succeed. It was almost easy to go 70 days without pmo this time because I wasnt drinking etc. at all. I think the "demon" (or whatever You wanna call it) of lust gets waken up after partaking in drinking and doing drugs. I don't feel defeated, Im gonna see this war through without relapsing again and Im gonna be stronger for the next war! My apologies phalanx warriors.

Thank you for your honesty, we appreciate you. It's just part of the battle, you may have been struck down but there's always another chance to get back up, and any progress you made isn't lost. God is like the GPS, when you make a wrong turn, it's OK, you just hear "rerouting".

I took drugs for years and they messed me up. I actually accidentally overdosed in college and was placed into the hospital. Since then I have sworn them off. I complete support any decision to quit drugs and partying. It definitely ruined my life for a season lol

I fell the other night as well. I have been in a rough spot lately which has lead to that happening a lot more often. But I just need to get back on track with other habits in my life and I'll get back to where I was before. By God's grace I know I can do it, even if I fall many times before then.

@erikson222 you have the right attitude, brother! Don’t let this get you down but get right back on the horse and keep going. I too have gone KIA many times in the past during my many years on this journey. The best thing is to learn from it and not make the same mistake again which of course is easier said than done.
phalanx brothers, there are only four of us left so let’s learn from our fallen brother and do our best to make it to the end 💪
