Relapse after 29 days of semen retention

It was the longest period of abstinence, my life record. I was incredibly productive and confident. I made contacts easily, attracted people like a magnet. My workouts were very intense and my muscles regenerated quickly. Most of the time, I was very emotionally stable, free from fear and doubt. I started to implement some creative ideas and also learned to play chess much better. I learn foreign languages, I want to change jobs, travel and meet new people. In the past, I was afraid to act, and now - I look at new challenges with joy.

Hopefully, with my experience, I will be able to win another war, or at least improve my 29 day sperm retention score 🙂

Seems like your problem was due to anxiety and excitement due to approaching day 30, have you tried meditation? It helps you being resilient

@ChosenOne777

Yeah! 💪😸

@rhenderson613

I stuck to my daily routine: getting enough sleep, eating regularly, working, exercising, meditating. When I had flatline I was taking supplements to wake me up: caffeine, tyrosine, carnitine. When I was stressed I exercised more strength, took B vitamins and adaptogens (ashwagandha, rhodiola). I socialized, played with my nephews, friends' children, was on the move most of the time, avoided sitting alone in front of the computer (trigger).

I was peeking sometimes, but I quickly backed away from it, keeping the semen.

I take cold showers every day, even 3 times a day.

If you are having a crisis: plan something big in your life, think about why you should move away from PMO, how much time you save and how much energy you can contribute to worthwhile activities. It helps.

NO PMO taught me discipline, working on myself in many ways. It wasn't easy for me to take long breaks, I've been trying to stay in nofap for 3 years now.

My biggest problem at the moment is low potency, poor erection, lack of volatility and a drop in mood from time to time, but I try not to worry about it and stick to my routine.

It takes time for the brain to wean itself off PMO. It's best to get him used to something else: walking, running, playing logic games, reading books, doing extra work, cleaning etc.

Routine work + time = long period of abstinence 🙂

@Omniman

It is true! I was thinking too hard about getting to day 30, I shouldn't have thought so much about it. In the last few days, I didn't even think about how long I hadn't had an orgasm as long as I was focusing on my daily activities.

I practice meditation and it helps me. I do it whenever I can, but unfortunately I missed many days. I exercise almost every day, do breathing exercises and take a cold shower. Without it, I would have relapsed more often.

Fortunately, I'm not as horny as I used to be 🙂

I would like to add that recovery from addiction is an individual matter for everyone and there is no universal method for everyone. It took me a lot of effort, sacrifice, and changing my habits to quit PMO and keep semen. In retrospect, I see more benefits than unpleasantness.

I believe that it is worth trying to control the drive. I wouldn't like to go back to watching porn on a regular basis today. Life is more interesting without it

Don't let that destroy you psychologically.
29 days of semen retention is a very good streak.

Avoid the " I lost all of my energy and starting from the bottom once again."
No.
Your body absorbed semen for 29 days and is sure more vivacious now.
Keep it up.

First of all, congratulations on your highest streak yet! I'm so proud of ya, man. 29 was my highest streak when I first found NoFap in late 2019 and now it's 34. I couldn't reach day 30 as I got overexcited and fooled myself by rewarding with PMO lol.
Now, you just need to get back up and try once again! Just be aware of the chaser and don't let the neuro bond between your brain and PMO strengthen. Be strong and carry on once more. You will reach good momentum in no time! :D
