So I hit somewhere between 8 and 10 days. It is Day 9 (I think). And I had my first dream in a long time. It wasn't about anything sexual. It was about a Bible study in the weight room.
When I talk to my other friends that do NoFap (that I know in real life), they concur that somewhere between 7 days and 12 days they begin to have vivid dreams that they remember again.
How about you guys? Do you experience vivid, non-sexual dreams on NoFap?
Well kinda, mine are progressively getting surreal and longer, kinda annoying since I sometimes mix the dreams with reality so then I’d have to wait a couple minutes to untie the two after I’ve woken up.
I don't usually notice dreams, but after a few weeks of NoFap I have dreamed that I was relapsing… the frustration and disappointment felt too real, I remember talking to myself about the relapse in my dream - then I awoke and was so relieved that I still had my streak, and wondered that the dream was so real. Waking up then felt like a great victory. This has happened to me more than once, on different streaks (maybe after Day 40 or so).
I have also observed this: my sleep quality is not so good in the first weeks or months on NoFap, and it takes the body weeks and months to readjust. It's worth it, though, just a small price to pay to reboot your brain.
I have experienced more vivid dreams while on nofap, usually after around the 10 day mark. It lasts a few weeks and then I go back to struggling to remember them… Not exactly sure what's going on here. I do enjoy the vividness of my dreams so I wish they'd stick around.
Yes definitely more vivid dreams. Sometimes they’re all over the place with what happens in them haha, but I remember more than usual nonetheless. Before nofap it would be like I fall asleep and next thing I know I’m awake. Nothing in between. Now it’s like my spirit is awakening again and living it’s life how it should be, in the higher dimensional world.
1) No Porn (or Porn substitutes), No Masturbation / No Fap, No Edging, No Peeking. Intentional indulging in any of these during this war will disqualify you from daily 'Check In'.
2) Report Casualty or 'KIA' immediately if you break Rule 1. All soldiers abide by a strong code of honor. Honesty and humility are important virtues that are necessary for this path of self-improvement.
3) Show respect to all soldiers, allies and opponents. Do not provoke anyone to relapse, doing so will result in an immediate ban of your account.
