34 brethren already gone…
We’re only 5 days in, and already 34 have fallen to lust. To the remaining soldiers, this is a war of attrition. Stay strong and occupy yourselves. And to the fallen soldiers, losing a battle does not mean that you’ve lost the war. Get up and Keep Fighting. ~OJ

Deleting social media and limiting smartphone
HI guys, how are you doing in this event? I find out that getting rid of social media is the cheapest way to improve your life satisfaction. How to do it effectively? 1. Use web site blocker (there are lots of plugins that block specific websites, block FB, insta, tiktok etc) for pc/laptop 2. Delete the social media apps from phone. It doesn't mean that you can't have occasional use of them, but it's not one-click access as you wake up. 3. Get a specific box or place where you "park" your smartphone and keep it as you don't really need it. Put it back after you use it. 4. Rule of thumb: absolutely no use of phone in bed, in toilet or after 23:00. 5. Keep phone silenced until you don't really wait for important call (to me it's once in 2 weeks), set boundaires with people that call you constantly to brag around and tell them you are available only at X or Y time on Z days, nothing harms your focus more than few phone calls of bored people in random moments (especially in the midde of the crossroad lol) 6. Block the meme websites. You will be surprised how little fun it was. Benefits: the key is most of people underestimate overall time on phone, when was last time you've read the whole chapter of a book or had a really long talk without peeking at phone? Time: Average time of social media, forums, meme sites etc takes 2,5h a day. This is a long gym session with driving there every single day. This is 140 pages of a book. This is 5 lessons of foreing language that you said you gonna learn 7 years ago. Self esteem: you don't compare youself you prepared posts that make you feel miserable cause everyone around is on constant vacation in tropical villa Quicker falling asleep, better ability to keep schedule, MUCH less stress during the day Up to 90% personal efficiency (I checked it on my own). You just do 90% of things you've planned during the day. Downsides: you can get FOMO and get bored sometimes, but in fact it's illusion.

Rat in a cage
The Mechanism: The rats learned to press a lever to receive a tiny electrical shock directly to this area of the brain, causing massive, repeated dopamine releases. The Addiction: The stimulation was so rewarding that the rats abandoned all other behaviors. They stopped eating, drinking, and sleeping. The Result: The rats would press the lever continuously—sometimes up to 7,000 times an hour—until they collapsed from exhaustion or died of starvation and dehydration. ^^^This is what my life feels like. Please: Don’t give up. Do what you have to do, do the hard work. Do it now.

Just get through today - and you’ll be even stronger.
Remember that you can do this one day at a time, that’s all you need to plan for in recovering right now - just be in this moment and set focus to something meaningful to you. The rest will take care of itself today.

Just stop social media
The highest leverage habit you can choose to increase your ability to quit PMO is social media absence. In fact, some of them have even the same owners as XXX sites, so they could be a part of funnel, as you see half-naked girls on insta and then go straight to more extreme stuff.

“How blessed I am to have learned a strength that only pain can teach”
I read this today- even though we all have made mistakes and can’t turn back, we can use this to grow. Rather than being born perfect and always righteous, isn’t there something admirable about being born imperfect and flawed and through great effort overcoming one’s nature to seek more virtue and benevolence? What do you think?
