This is a very timely post for me. I'm currently going through a period of urges that come-on suddenly and extremely rapidly they challenge my will power. Thanks for this. It helps me literally right now.

Thanks for sharing this. I have heard the term but need to recognize the idea more often. I grew up with a decent amount of arguing around me, and I find that I myself still revert to that reaction sometimes instead of waiting to respond… same with pmo and it feels damn good to have done the right thing in either situation and have demonstrated patience.
