Suggestion to creators : Soft Check-in for the first week
Hi to creators of this wonderful tool,
About me, I was part of no fap war that happened sometime in 2016 and that was the first time I had a good streak made me realise what life without PMO is like. Then I have been on and off the deaddiction route. Now I have got to know about this platform and want to participate in the next war.
Suggestion:
I remember during the first week many people might not be aware of the check in functionality and might forget the start date of the war so I had a suggestion that for the first week of the war could there be some sort of soft check-in wherein the users can check-in in any of the first 7 days and once they check-in for the first time they have to check-in everyday from the next day onwards. After 7 days the mandatory daily check-in kicks in.
This is just my 2 cents of increasing user participation in this life saving application.

I like the idea, on the other hand, I received an e-mail like 5 days before the war started reminding me about the war. Also, I don't think it really matters, because the people who are serious about this most likely can make the time and effort to be committed.
With the way technology is nowadays, people can set calender reminders, alarms, keep websites open, and so much more and all on their phones.
Some people just need an excuse amd/or like to be a victim and place the blame on someone else.

I also agree with @DLegacy If youre really in this war you know the date and are already preparing to bring your all. Just makes us weaker instead of depending on ourselves only.
Yeah even I agree about all the utilities available to us to remind us. Even I have set up an alarm in my mobile to remind myself to check in for the first time.
Just that when I logged in someone mentioned that he had enlisted but didn't know how to check-in and had to turn KIA. So for these instances this would help I thought

I also have an idea, regarding the stars. After a KIA, if the person has won previous wars. Make the stars hollow from that point backwards. And only keep the stars in solid color if there has been seamless streak from wars to wars
