I was just wondering why the war lasts for 50 days? When people usually talk about recovery from PMO, they often say to abstain for 30, 60, or 90 days. It always seems to follow a rule of 30. Not that I believe it always has to follow this rule, I was just interested how the war landed on being 50 days long.

Ah I was inspired by the subreddit r/thexeffect they used the 50 day format to build good habits. 50 days is like a good middle ground where it’s not too long like 90 days and not too short like 30 days. If you can make it to 50 days, you’ll be more likely to make it to 90 days and beyond.

Personally never heard of anyone speaking of 60 days, yet a good point.
